Poori Masala

Ingredients

Potato – 4 nos
Big onion – 2 nos
Carrot – 1
Green chillies – 3 nos
Ginger – 1 inch piece
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Besan flour – 2 tsp
Salt & water – as needed
Pepper powder – ½ tsp

To temper

oil – 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
Urad dal – 1 tsp
Chana dal – 1 tbsp
Curry leaves – few


Method:

Boil or Steam 4 Large potatoes in a cooker or steamer


Peel and cut the potatoes


Heat a kadai & add Mustared seeds.


Add Channa dal,Urad Dal, Cumin Powder,Onion, Ginger, Green chili. Saute a min.


Saute and Mix well.


Add Chopped Carrot. cook for 5 min


Add Besan flour & mix well.


Add 1 cup water  and salt


Boil and cover


Mash it roughly into big pieces.


Add Turmeric powder and mashed potatoes. Mix well


till it gets the right consistency
