Madurai Mutton Chukka

Ingredients
Mutton – ½ kg ( bone / boneless)
Oil – 2tbsp
Cinnamon – 1 inch
Cloves – 4
Star anis – 1
Cardamom – 2pods
Dry chili – 1
Green chili -1
Curry leaves- few
Small onion – 15
Tomato – 2
Ginger garlic paste – 1tbsp
Turmeric powder – 1tsp
Chili powder – 1tbsp
Coriander powder – 1tbsp
Garam masala powder – 1tsp
Cumin powder – 1tsp
Fennel powder – 1tsp
Mutton masala powder -1tbsp
Pepper powder – 1tsp
Water

Method

Heat Oil in a kadai


Add Cinnamon, Star anis, Cloves, Cardamom


Add Dry Chili


Add Green Chili


Add Curry leves


Add Onion


Saute them well, till the raw smell of


Add finely chopped tomatoes and little bit of salt. Fry until it becomes soft.


Add Ginger garlic paste


Add turmeric powder


Add Chili powder


Add Coriander powder


Add Fennel powder


Add Garam masala powder


Add Mutton masala powder


Add Cumin powder


Add Salt


Mix well


Add Cup of water


Mix well


Add pepper powder


Add Mutton


Mix well


Pressure Cook for 6 whistels


Open the lid


till it gets the right consistency
