Drumstick Sambar

Ingredients:
Drumstick – 2
Toor Dal – 1cup ( cooked)
Tamarind paste – Goose berry Size
Sambar powder – 3 tbsp
Turmeric powder – 1tsp
Salt – as needed

To temper:

Oil – 2tbsp
Mustared – 1tsp
Cumin Seeds – 1tsp
Fenugreek Seeds – 1tsp
Hing – 2 pinch
Onion – 1
Tomato – 1
Green Chili – 2
Curry leaves

Method

Pressure cook toordal adding turmeric powder , required water ,  drop of oil.Cook for 1 to 2 whistles in low flame. After the steam is released , open the lid , mash well and set aside


Heat a Kadai


Add Fenugreek Seeds, Mustared seeds, Red Dry Chili, Onion & Hing


Add the tomatoes in and cook till melts.& Add Drumstick


Mix well & Add Tamarind paste


Add Little water, Salt


Add Sambar powder


Cover And cook. Boil it


Then add Cooked Toor dal. Mix well


Boil it.


Serve Hot
