Snack guard Kootu / Pudalangai Kootu

Ingredients
Snack guard – 2 (medium Size)
Yellow MoongDal/paasiparupu- 1/4cup
Turmeric Powder
Green Chili – 2
Salt to taste

For Seasoning

Oil- 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds – 1 Tsp
Curry Leaves

Method

  •  Clean and cut the snake gourd to your desired size cubes.
  • I chopped little fine.
  • Then pressure cook, Snack guard, Moong dal, Green Chili, along with salt, with enough water and turmeric powder until mushy.. Cook till 2-3 whistles in medium flame.
  • Now make seasoning by heating oil and crackling some Cumin Seeds, Curry Leaves. Add the cooked dal and veggie mixture. Mix Well.

Serve with hot rice.
